Captain Vince Comella has a United States Coast Guard Master license and has been a sailor for 17 years which included
passages from Canada to Mexico and through the islands of the South Pacific to Australia (approximately 15,000 blue water
miles) aboard his 40' ketch, "Itchy Feet".
He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a General Amateur (HAM) radio license (call sign KF6KGP). He has worked in and
around electronics for 30 years.
Prior to founding Salty Dog Technology, Captain Vince had 30 years experience in the design, manufacturing and service of
electronic equipment and instrumentation.
He has given countless seminars on various aspects of boating, navigation and electronics and has worked in the marine
industry for the last six years.
